Community Support for Eileen’s Family After Tragic Accident
A gofundme has been organized by Kristen LoSchiavo, a friend of Eileen Ziesmer, 58, who died March 5 as a result of a tragic crash on Route 70 at Morningstar Road in Wall. A GoFundMe campaign was established to assist the family.

According to the GoFundMe: "On the evening of Thursday, March 5, 2026, our community lost a truly extraordinary woman. Eileen was tragically killed in a car accident, leaving behind a heartbroken family and a parish community that loved her deeply.

Eileen was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, counselor, and friend to so many. Her life was rooted in faith, service, and compassion for others. For many years, she dedicated her professional life to serving the Catholic Church through the Diocese of Trenton, answering a vocation not of personal gain, but of ministry. Those who work for the Church do so because they believe in something greater than themselves, a calling to serve God and care for His people, and Eileen lived that calling every day.

She was a cherished and constant presence at St. Denis Roman Catholic Church in Manasquan, where her faith shaped the way she cared for others and guided those who sought her wisdom, kindness, and counsel.

Because Eileen devoted her life to service within the Church, her career was never about financial reward. Like many who faithfully serve the Church and its mission, she gave generously of her time, heart, and talents. Now, in the wake of this sudden and tragic loss, her family faces not only unimaginable grief, but also significant financial burdens.

As the accident continues to be investigated and moves through the legal system, Eileen’s loved ones are facing mounting legal expenses, funeral costs, and other unexpected financial challenges during an already heartbreaking time.

This GoFundMe has been organized by family-friend Kristen LoSchiavo along with her husband Andrew LoSchiavo and the Weinbel and Lago families, to support the Ziesmer and Ostrowski families as they navigate the difficult days and months ahead.

The funds raised will help offset funeral expenses, legal fees, and the financial burdens that have come with Eileen’s sudden passing.

Eileen spent her life serving others through her faith, her work, and her love for her family and community. Now we ask our community to come together in that same spirit of compassion and generosity to support the family she loved so dearly.

Any donation, no matter the amount, is deeply appreciated. If you are unable to give, please consider sharing this page and keeping the Ziesmer and Ostrowski families in your prayers."
