Chipotle Mexican Restaurant Drive-Thru
The construction of a Chipotle restaurant on a parcel of property close to Route 37 and Washington Street was approved last year by the Toms River Township Planning Board.
Spread across 2,325 square feet, the 65-seat eatery will feature a Chipotlane—Chipotle's digital order drive-thru pick-up lane.
The property, a corner lot on the north side of Washington Street and the south side of Route 37, was cleared in 2006, but prior to that it was a petrol station, according to a memo from township planner David Roberts.
Across the highway are a Sherwin Williams paint store and the Toms River Mall shopping center.
With 65 seats and a drive-thru for mobile pick-up, the 2,325 square foot restaurant will have a drive-thru option.
The site plan includes utilities, lighting, landscaping, stormwater management facilities, and accessory parking.
