Construction Worker Dies After Being Run Over on AC Expressway

Construction Worker Dies After Being Run Over on AC Expressway

After being struck by a construction truck on the Atlantic City Expressway in Camden County on Friday morning, a construction worker passed away from his wounds.

It occurred in Winslow Township, New Jersey, east of Exit 38 on the eastbound lanes of the AC Expressway at approximately 7:30 a.m.
The South Jersey Transportation Authority stated a subcontractor was involved in the incident.

According to the authorities, the truck driver was unaware that there was a person behind the car when he backed up to pick up cones.
Only a 31-year-old male from Egg Harbor Township has been named as the victim; his identity has not yet been made public.

Investigations are underway into the incident.
