No child is too young to learn how to swim. Not only does swimming help prevent drowning accidents; it gives them a life-long skill that builds self-esteem and confidence. Parents also benefit from learning water safety principles and develop a sense of security.

At the Y, swimming is a life skill. Their swim lessons prepare kids of all ages to stay safe and have fun in the water while building strong kids and confident swimmers. The Ocean County YMCA strives to create a safe, fun, and encouraging environment for children, youth, and adults to develop as swimmers. Visit the Ocean County YMCA to see all programs and memberships.
