The Ocean County Health Department has increased COVID-19 testing at Ocean County College in response to increased demand for testing as a result of the omicron variant's coronavirus outbreak.
The schedule for the drive-thru clinic for Jan. 10-14 is as follows:
Monday 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Tuesday 11 a.m.-7 p.m.
Wednesday 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Thursday 11 a.m.-7 p.m.
Friday 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
The schedule is subject to changes due to inclement weather.Only PCR tests are performed in the drive-thru clinic, and they are free of charge. There is no need for insurance.
Because of the present volume of tests being performed, the health agency estimates that test results will take at least five days. The results of the tests are available on the Immediate Care website, which processes the samples.
Patients must wear face covering at the time of visit.
