According to the National Weather Service, its going to be a bit cooler than normal this week but eyes will be turned towards the DE Beaches and the Shore this week as the impacts from Hurricane Erin will be felt even though Erin is forecast to stay well offshore.

Coastal Flooding, High Surf, Dangerous Rip Currents, and beach erosion are all potential impacts.

Update on Hurricane Erin: Erin is a category 3 storm with sustained winds of 130 mph as of 2 a.m. The Turks and Caicos Islands and the southeast Bahamas are starting to feel the effects of the outer rainbands.

All week long, the US Seaboard is anticipated to experience potentially fatal surf and rip currents.
