According to the National Weather Service, an Excessive Heat Warning has been issued for parts of New Jersey from Sun 3:03 pm until Wed 6:00 am EDT

WHAT...For the Excessive Heat Warning, dangerously hot conditions with heat index values ranging from 103 to 108 degrees. For the Excessive Heat Watch, dangerously hot conditions with heat index values ranging from 100 to 105 degrees possible.

WHERE...Portions of northern Delaware, central, northern, and southern New Jersey, and southeast Pennsylvania.

WHEN...For the Excessive Heat Warning, until 6 AM EDT Wednesday. For the Excessive Heat Watch, from Wednesday morning through Wednesday evening.

IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events.
