According to authorities, a man from Brick was accused with possessing both cocaine and heroin with the intent to distribute them.
According to Brick Township Police Department, the Street Crimes Unit executed three search warrants at a home on Coventry Court on Thursday, June 8th, to wrap up a protracted investigation.
250 wax folds of heroin and a sizable quantity of crack cocaine were found during the residential search, and together with the quantity of crack cocaine found in the suspect's car, they weighed more than 100 grams.
A digital scale and an undisclosed sum of money in the tens of thousands of dollars were also taken, in addition to the drugs.
Ezra Wheeler, a 27-year-old Brick resident and the suspect, was detained and charged with possession of cocaine, heroin, intent to distribute cocaine, and intent to distribute heroin. Wheeler was booked into Ocean County Jail after his charges were listed on a summons.
