Double Shooting in Monmouth County Four Arrests
According to the Monmouth County Prosecutors Office,four people have been charged in relation to a shooting incident that occurred in July that left one person dead and another injured.
According to authorities, the incident happened on July 10 just after three in the morning. Red Bank Police discovered two individuals with gunshot wounds after responding to a complaint of gunfire in the100 block of River Street.
According to Prosecutor Santiago, one of the victims—later identified as Red Bank resident Mikal Muhammad, 36—was declared dead at the site.
Police investigating double shooting that left 1 dead in Red Bank
According to Santiago, Lahmeir Hill, 31, of Pemberton Borough, and Sadiq Palmer, 25, of Freehold Borough, were found to be the shooters after an investigation into the incident.
Prosecutors charged Hill and Palmer with murder, attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and other unspecified weapons crimes.
Prosecutors also charged Red Bank residentSimone Moultrie, 53, with murder, attempted murder, and hindering. Red Bank resident Ticco Griffin, 29, was charged with hindering.
The Red Bank Police Departmentand the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office's Major Crimes Bureau and Narcotics and Criminal Enterprise Unit were in charge of the shooting investigation.
