Driver Dies in Serious Accident on Route 88 in Brick Township
Brick Township Police reported Tuesday that a driver died Monday after their car struck a tree on Route 88 close to Jordan Road.
On Monday, the crash was reported at 10:37 a.m. According to the police, the driver lost control of the car for unknown reasons and was fatally injured when it struck a tree.
No details identifying the driver or the car involved in the collision were made public by the police.
Police ask anyone who witnessed the collision or has pertinent information to contact Patrolman Daniel Fogarty of the Traffic Safety Unit at 732-262-1141 as the investigation is still ongoing.
