Drunk Driver Hospitalizes Two NJ Police Officers

PLEASE KEEP SADDLE RIVER POLICE OFFICER JOHN LATKA AND ALLENDALE POLICE OFFICER MARK DUNN JR. IN YOUR PRAYERS!

According to Saddle River both officers were injured when a suspected drunk driver, driving a Range Rover SUV, rear-ended an Allendale police vehicle, causing a four-car chain-reaction crash.

Both officers are being treated for severe injuries.

“These 2 officers were serving their communities last night when a drunk driver seriously injured them. We pray for their recovery,” said NJ State PBA President Andreyev.

Update: Latka was treated and released with minor injuries, and Dunn is still at the hospital being treated for severe injuries.
