Early Thanksgiving Weather Forecast for New Jersey
Even though there is still more than a week until countless turkeys are roasting in ovens, some forecasters are already projecting the kind of weather that Thanksgiving visitors will see.
One of the busiest travel days of the season, next Wednesday, is predicted by AccuWeather to have a possibility of rain showers in New Jersey.
And on Thanksgiving Day, the showers can last all morning.
The timing of a significant storm system that is predicted to affect the country's southern and central regions on Tuesday is a major factor in the forecast.
According to Paul Pastelok, a long-range meteorologist at
AccuWeather, the storm system that is approaching next week might cause chaos on some roadways and airline flight schedules for Thanksgiving travelers.
The forecast for Thanksgiving Day and next Wednesday has not yet been released by the
National Weather Service. When the long-range forecast is more certain, it usually does that five days in advance.
However, please check and follow your local
forecast .
