Farewell to Aslan: New Jersey Animal Refuge's Beloved Lion

According to a post from Popcorn Park Animal Refuge, Aslan the Lion has passed away. Unfortunately, Aslan was diagnosed with a rapidly advancing and aggressive form of cancer, which progressed swiftly despite the diligent efforts of devoted staff and skilled veterinary professionals.

He passed away with his mate, Savannah, by his side, the statement said.

Aslan and his sister, Savannah, reached Popcorn Park following multiple relocations to new residences, as stated by the zoo.

Popcorn Park Animal Refuge is a nonprofit animal refuge established in 1977 for animals facing desperate circumstances.
