The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is looking into complaints that Lucky Charms cereal is making people sick.
As of Monday, more than 1,300 people had reported falling unwell after eating the marshmallow-laden morning cereal on iwaspoisoned.com. Reports have been coming in from all around the country, with the majority of them describing nausea, diarrhea, and vomiting as symptoms.
According to USA Today, "the FDA is aware of reports and is investigating the situation." "Any reports of probable food adulteration that may result in illness or injury are taken seriously by the FDA."
Despite the ongoing inquiry, the FDA has yet to issue a recall notice.
