Field of Dreams Is Opening Soon
On April 8, 2022, Field of Dreams, a concept conceived by Christian Kane, a High School North teacher, had its first test run.
High School East pupils getting special services were bused in to try out the fully-inclusive playground area under a brilliant sun and the hum of construction vehicles on the outside of the play area working to fully complete the project. Wheelchair-accessible trampolines and swings, slides, see-saws, and a brand-new outdoor basketball court were just a few of the exciting things that students were eager to try out.Field of the Dreams grand opening is scheduled for April 30th.

The Toms River Field of Dreams (TRFOD) is a project with a mission to encourage and engage our communities (Monmouth and Ocean Counties), with a focus on those with special needs, in physical and social activity by building a community complex to provide opportunities for all individuals of all ages all abilities to engage, explore and socialize together.
