The creation and hosting of a variety of events within the facility for people with special needs was one of the founder Christian Kane's stated goals when the Toms River Field of Dreams opened in 2022.

With the introduction of a free, public summer music series at the complex, located at 1505 North Bay Avenue, this objective has been accomplished.

The concert series, sponsored by Surf Taco, kicks off Tuesday, June 27, and will be held Tuesdays through Aug. 8.
