A two-alarm house fire broke out yesterday morning at 253 Aldo Drive in the Silverton section of Toms River, drawing a large emergency response and leaving the home heavily damaged. Fire crews arrived to find smoke and flames pouring from the rear of the two‑story residence, with the fire already extending into the roof and attic.

Firefighters were dispatched around 9:30 a.m. after reports of a structure fire on Aldo Drive.
First-arriving units encountered heavy smoke and visible flames coming from the back of the home.
