According to the Burlington Prosecutors Office, a 6-year-old boy drowned yesterday while at Liberty Lakes Day Camp on Florence Columbus Road in Mansfield Township.
The boy was found unresponsive in a swimming pool just before 2 p.m. and was pulled out by a lifeguard. Life-saving measures were attempted by camp staff members.
An investigation is being conducted by the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office and the Mansfield Township Police Department.
