Help Child from Ocean County Win the Great Bike Giveaway Contest

Cast Your Vote

In order to help a very special child receive the most votes in the Great Bike Giveaway, the Manchester Township Police Department is requesting that our community unite and support him! Miles Zimerla is 11 years-old. At just 26 weeks, he was born, and survival was not anticipated. Miles is blind and non-verbal today, and he has quadriplegic cerebral palsy, seizures, and chronic lung illness. He has had numerous surgeries to treat his ankles and hip dysplasia, and he is fed via a Mickey tube.

Miles is recognized as the kindest child despite his difficulties. He enjoys spending time outside with his sister and brother. Regretfully, his current wheelchair restricts his mobility.

Accessing parks, beaches, and uneven terrain can be challenging or impossible. Miles would have more freedom and be able to enjoy the outdoors with his family in safety if he had an adaptive jogging bike.

Miles is a participant in the Great Bike Giveaway, which gives kids with special needs access to adaptive bikes.
There are three ways Miles can win:

• Receive the most votes in his bike category

• Be selected through a random drawing in his category

• Raise enough funds to meet the bike goal

The bike he needs costs approximately $6,400, and your vote can make a direct difference.

You can support Miles by voting at the link below:

Voting is open from February 25, 2026 through March 18, 2026.

It takes a village. Let’s show Miles and his family what this community can do!
