Heroic EMT Saves Boy Trapped Under Bus in NJ
EMT Matt Goldman will be recognized as the town's 2025 Hometown Hero by Montvale Mayor Mike Ghassali for his heroic actions following Monday's overturn of a school bus on the Garden State Parkway.
When the bus carrying children overturned, Goldman, who was driving behind it, stopped right away, went underneath, and saved the life of a boy until more help could arrive.
The Borough of Montvale, New Jersey is going to recognize Matt this Thursday at 7:30PM as the 2025 Hometown Hero at the regular M&C meeting.
