It is with great sadness and a very heavy heart that we have to share the unexpected passing of Laila Orjuela on Sunday May 5th, 2024 . Laila was 14 and an 8th grader at Wall Intermediate School.

She was a beautiful big sister to her 10 year old brother Mason and daughter to Alison Young and Oscar Orjuela. The family is understandably shocked by this sudden tragic loss .

With all of the brutal emotional pain and stress that death brings, it can also bring financial burdens. We would like to raise money for Laila’s family to help with any funeral expenses. Unfortunately the family is not prepared for all that is happening at this time.

Losing a loved one is always difficult, but coping with a sudden unimaginable loss of a young child adds a different element to the grieving process. It doesn’t follow a pattern and there’s often a lack of closure.

There are also added financial stressors, such as the cost of planning a funeral. It is in times of sadness and loss when people can come together to help one another make it through.
