Is New Jersey in the Path of a Tropical Storm?

Potential Tropical Storm Could Impact NJ

Will New Jersey Experience a Tropical Storm Next Week?

In the next few days, there will be a lot of discussion on social media regarding a developing tropical system. Will New Jersey be impacted by it or not? It's still too soon to say.

Though forecasters don't see a storm going directly over the state this system appears to be close enough to provide huge swells and a breeze for the shore. Something that will be closely monitored in the upcoming days according to weather forecasters.

According to Accuweather, forecasters anticipate that early next week, when the storm makes landfall in Florida, the system will continue north and east along the Atlantic beaches of Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina.

Whether the storm will move far enough north to deliver rain, wind, or choppy waves to New Jersey is still up in the air.

Potential Tropical Storm

Debby will be the fourth named storm of what is anticipated to be an extremely active hurricane season if the system strengthens into a tropical storm.
