Authorities said in a statement released Friday that a Wildwood Crest woman has been charged in relation to a fatal hit-and-run accident that occurred in Cape May County on New Year's Eve.
According to a statement released by
Cape May County Prosecutors Office, Marylin Glenn, 76, of the 100 block of West Jefferson Avenue, was charged on Thursday with leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident that resulted in death and violating a public law meant to protect public safety.
According to the statement, Glenn is facing charges related to an investigation into a crash that occurred in Wildwood on December 31, 2024, which resulted in the death of a pedestrian, identified on court documents only as C.C.
The deadly collision occurred in Wildwood near the intersection of West Hand and Hudson Avenues.
Per the prosecutor's statement, Glenn left the scene of the accident but subsequently got in touch with the police.
