According to the Ocean County Prosecutors Office, Police Officers continue to do amazing and heroic things!

On September 13, 2024, Seaside Park Class I Police Officers Dakota Giglio and Bryan Urspruch were on patrol when they were flagged down for a swimmer in distress.

Both Officers entered the water and were able to successfully rescue the victim.

On September 19, 2024, Seaside Park Class I Police Officer Luke Cox and Class Two Police Officer Mason Kinlan were on patrol when they were dispatched to the area of 2nd Avenue beach for a report of two males stuck in a rip current.

With the assistance of the Seaside Heights Fire Department, the Officers were able to return both swimmers to shore. Great job Officers Giglio, Urspruch, Cox and Kinlan, and all the responding emergency personnel for a job well done!
