The 69-year-old Shrewsbury woman, Theresa, is one of 22 ladies competing for the attention of widower Gerry Turner, 71, in the first season of "The Golden Bachelor," looking for a second chance at love.
According to her bio on the show, Theresa, 69, of Shrewsbury, works in financial services. She is one of the 22 women vying for Gerry Turner's affection on the show, which premieres on September 28.
Theresa is described as "a gorgeous catch with a huge heart" in her ABC bio. She has a tight relationship with her children and grandchildren and would give anything to see them all succeed. Theresa characterizes herself as upbeat, motivating, and prepared to fall in love after a loss. In this new chapter of her life, she wishes to find a companion who will be her greatest friend and cherish all the tiny moments with her.Theresa likes to play board games, garden, read romance novels, and hula hoop when she is not spending time with her family. Theresa is here for the real deal, and we are crossing our fingers that it's all fireworks when she meets the Golden Bachelor, as the program declares.
Theresa enjoys singing in her car alone. She has educated herself everything there is to know about the stock market. She also enjoys both soft and hard '70s rock.Theresa is not the only competitor from New Jersey. The list included Anna, a retired nutritionist from Summit, age 61, and Maria, a health and wellness director from Teaneck, age 60.
On Thursday, September 28, ABC will air the series debut of "The Golden Bachelor," which is also going to be streamed on Hulu.
