Juvenile has been Charged with Robbery and Weapons Offenses
According to Manchester Police, on March 14, 2026, a juvenile was taken into custody and charged with robbery and weapon possession offenses, all in connection with an incident that occurred in the Pine Lake Park section of town on March 13, 2026.
On March 13, 2026, at approximately 7:15 p.m., Officers from the Manchester Police Department responded to the area of Hannibal Street and Seventh Avenue in reference to a robbery in which the victim stated the suspect approached him while armed with a knife and demanded money. The victim was able to flee the scene and ran into a nearby residence to seek safety.
Manchester Police Department officers quickly responded to the area and began an investigation. The Manchester Police Investigations Bureau assisted with the search and investigation, along with resources from the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office, including their Drone and K-9 Units.
The continued investigation the following day by the Manchester Police Department revealed that a juvenile was responsible for the robbery. The juvenile is currently being detained in the
Ocean County Juvenile Detention Center.
The charges referenced above are merely accusations, and the press and public are reminded that all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
