Linda DeMaio (Gomes), 60, of Toms River, NJ, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Linda was born in Newark, New Jersey, and raised in Carteret before later living in Elizabeth. She eventually settled in Toms River, where she built a beautiful life with her husband, Salvatore. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Linda dedicated much of her life to caring for her family while also working as a licensed esthetician from home.

She had a passion for decorating, gardening, and crafting, and she especially loved spending time with her daughter and grandchildren. Linda also enjoyed giving facials and doing makeup, always taking pride in helping others feel confident and cared for.

Linda was truly one of a kind—fun-loving, joyful, and full of life. She had a way of bringing laughter and happiness wherever she went and was often the life of the party. Her warmth, kindness, and vibrant spirit touched the lives of many, and her presence will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Salvatore DeMaio; her daughter, Gianna, and son-in-law Francesco Romano; her mother, Frances Gomes; her brother, Paul Gomes, and his wife Lisa; and her beloved grandchildren, Silvio and Liliana Romano.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 995 Fischer Blvd., Toms River, NJ, with a memorial service beginning at 3:30 p.m.
