Local Man Faces Charges in Multiple Commercial Burglary Cases
According to the Brick Township Police Department, Chief David Forrester announced on May 20th, 2025, The Brick Police Department arrested and charged Alfred John Oliveri Jr, 67, Toms River, NJ with six counts of burglary, six counts of theft, five counts of criminal mischief, and five counts of burglar’s tools.
The Brick Township Police actively investigated a series of commercial burglaries that occurred over the past month, all sharing distinct similarities. In each incident, a male suspect riding a bicycle targeted businesses after closing hours, using a rock to shatter glass windows before unlawfully entering the premises. Once inside, the suspect proceeded to remove items of value.
Oliveri, who is being held in the
Ocean County Jail in Toms River, has been charged with nine counts of burlgary, nine counts of theft, eight counts of criminal mischief causing damage, nine counts of possession of burglar’s tools and one count of criminal mischief-tampering, according to the Ocean County Corrections website.
