Man Accused of Inappropriate Contact with Girl at Brick NJ Store
According to Ocean County Prosecutors Office, on April 18, 2025, Brick Township Police Chief David Forrester and Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer revealed that 24 year old Brick Township resident Sean Slowinski was charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child in relation to an event that happened in Brick Township on April 9, 2025.
An individual reported that her eight-year-old daughter had been improperly touched at the
Brick Township Walmart on April 16, 2025.
The minor victim was standing in an aisle at Walmart when an unidentified male, later identified as Slowinski, approached her. The male then grabbed the victim's hand and placed it in his sweatshirt pocket, according to an investigation conducted by the Brick Township Police Department Detective Bureau and the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit.
After speaking with the victim for a while, the man left. Investigators were able to determine the offender's description.
On April 18, 2025, Officers from the Brick Township Police Station responded to the
Target store on Route 70 for a report of a shoplifting. Responding Officers were able to positively identify the suspect in the shoplifting incident, Slowinski, as the perpetrator of the incident in Walmart on April 9th.
Slowinski was taken into custody at the scene without incident. He was charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and transported to the
Ocean County Jail where he is presently lodged pending a detention hearing.
