Man Admits Guilt in Cocaine Dealing from Brick Home
According to the Ocean County Prosecutors Office, In connection with a drug investigation in 2023 that resulted in the seizure of several drugs and ten weapons, a man from Brick Township entered a guilty plea to the charge of distributing cocaine.

Palmer on Monday, Henry Burns, 56, entered a guilty plea to the charges of possessing more than five ounces of cocaine with the purpose to distribute it and being a specific person prohibited from carrying a handgun, according to prosecutor Bradley D. Palmer on Monday, Henry Burns, 56, entered a guilty plea to the charges of possessing more than five ounces of cocaine with the purpose to distribute it and being a specific person prohibited from carrying a handgun, according to prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer.
On May 17, 2023, Burns was taken into custody after a month-long inquiry. According to the prosecutor's office, authorities discovered Burns was storing and distributing cocaine out of a business in Asbury Park and a residence in Brick.
According to the prosecutor's office, they started surveillance on the two places and on May 17 observed Burns leave the house and go to a Red Bank shop. Burns was later apprehended without incident by detectives from the Narcotics Strike Force of the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office.
Detectives carried out search warrants at the Brick residence and the Asbury Park store, where they found multiple rounds of ammunition, a high-capacity ammunition magazine, ten handguns, heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine, oxycodone, naproxan, and alprazolam, along with an approximate amount of cash at the residence, according to Billhimer.
Burns has been detained since his arrest at the Ocean County Jail.
The state is asking for 15 years in prison on the drug charge and 10 years in jail with five years of parole ineligibility on the firearms charge, to run consecutively, during his scheduled sentencing hearing on March 8, according to Billhimer.
