Man Killed in South Jersey: Teen Suspect Still on the Run

According to Bridgeton Police Department, on Monday, a teenager who was accused of murder in South Jersey is still at large.

According to investigators, James E. Snead Jr., 19, shot and killed another man in Bridgeton, Cumberland County, on Sunday. He was still being sought by police around 1:30 p.m. Monday.

According to Bridgeton police, Snead should be regarded as "armed and dangerous," as no weapon was discovered at the site.

Officers were called to the incident on the 100 block of Cottage Avenue in Bridgeton at approximately 11:15 a.m. on Sunday. Bridgeton resident Kevon Williams, 24, was declared deceased at the scene.

Snead was charged with murder and firearms crimes following more investigation.

According to the authorities, Snead resides on Baltimore Avenue in Bridgeton.
