Honoring the Life of Mary E. Nicolini, A Toms River Native. Mary E. Nicolini, 101, died Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at Tallwoods Care Center in Bayville. Born in Toms River, she lived in Toms River most of her life.

A Life of 101 Years: Mary E. Nicolini of Toms River

Mary E. Nicolini, 101, of Toms River, died Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at Tallwoods Care Center in Bayville.

Born in Toms River, she lived in Toms River most of her life.

Mary was a homemaker. In her spare time she loved to bowl and do ceramics.

She was a member of Catholic Daughters of America, St. Joseph's Altar Rosary Society and a volunteer at Community Medical Center’s Second Time Around Shop.

Mary was pre-deceased by her husband Reno, brother Philip Liuzzo Jr and sister Adeline Burkhouse.

She is survived by her son Carl and his wife Deborah and her daughter, Nancy Fawkes.

She is also survived by six grandchildren, Matthew Fawkes and his wife Shana, Steven Nicolini, Jeffrey Fawkes, Kristie Fawkes, Cara Nicolini and Antoinette Nicolini and two great grandchildren and Amanda and Pamela Fawkes. Also surviving are her brother in law, William Nicolini and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Monday, October 7, 2024 from 2-5pm at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ. A mass will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at 10 am at St. Joseph RC Church in Toms River.

Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Toms River. NJ 08753.
