Memorial Day is a holiday that people look forward to as the start of the summer. However, lets not forget Memorial Day is an American holiday, observed on the last Monday of May, honoring the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. Memorial Day 2025 will occur on Monday, May 26th.

The Annual Memorial Day parade, organized by the George P. Vanderveer American Legion Post 129, will honor U.S. military members who lost their lives in service to the country.

The parade goes down Main Street to Washington Street and ends with a ceremony at Toms River Town Hall. Parade will be from 9 am to 11 am.

Beaches at the Jersey Shore will be open. Check out the weather forecast before you hit the beach. Even if you don't visit the beach this weekend, there is still plenty to do at the Jersey Shore this weekend.

Boardwalks and amusement parks are open. Bars and restaurants are ready to seat you. There is always plenty of shopping at the Ocean County Mall, watch a movie at the Marquee Cinema or visit a museum in Toms River. There are plenty of Things to Do in Toms River.
