Latest Predictions for New Jersey

According to the most recent forecast, the Garden State may receive a light dusting of snow on Thursday.

According to early predictions, New Jersey would receive several inches of snow. However, the National Weather Service now predicts that less than 1 inch will fall across the majority of the state due to the storm's more southern trajectory.

The state's far southeast corner is the only exception, where 1 to 3 inches of snow may fall.

"The track of the storm will have a significant impact on the amount of snowfall accumulations in the Northeast, particularly in New England," stated Kerry Schwindenhammer, Senior Meteorologist at AccuWeather.

AccuWeather predicted 3 to 6 inches of snow across South Jersey, which was a more optimistic estimate. However, AccuWeather forecasters say there won't be any snow in most of North Jersey.

Meanwhile, the National Weather Service predicts that Tuesday night will be extremely cold, with statewide wind chills in the single digits.
