Multiple Homes Lost in Devastating New Jersey Fire

A late-night fire in Trenton, New Jersey, left seven homes damaged, one person dead, and three others injured.

According to officials, the deceased man was eighteen years old. His identity is still unknown. While the other injured individuals are in stable health, one is in serious condition.

According to Trenton Mayor Reed Gusciora, one of the injured was a firefighter.
The incident was reported in the 1200 block of North Olden Avenue, close to Ellis Avenue, just before 11 p.m. on Friday.

When firefighters arrived, they discovered that the rowhomes were engulfed in thick flames, and on camera, neighbors could be seen pounding on doors to persuade residents to go.

Before the fire was eventually contained, it went through three alarms.

"They appear to have suddenly increased. Gusciora stated, "It appears that all of the belongings of seven families have been destroyed."

The fire caused the displacement of twenty-two people.
The Red Cross is helping families who need a place to stay.

State fire inspectors are still investigating the incident.
