New Jersey Police Seeking Public’s Assistance with Road Rage Shooting Investigation

The New Jersey State Police is seeking the public's assistance with identifying the driver of the suspected vehicle involved in a road rage incident on I-78 East, milepost 23.6 in Readington Township, Hunterdon County.

At approximately 2:50 p.m. on Friday, December 15, the suspect, driving a white Dodge Ram pickup truck with dual rear tires and black lettering displaying business and DOT numbers on the passenger side, pulled up next to the tractor-trailer driver. From the suspect vehicle's passenger side window, at least one shot was fired, striking the engine compartment of the tractor-trailer, and causing it to become disabled.
