New Jersey's Weather Forecast for the Upcoming Labor Day Weekend
According to the early Labor Day weekend forecast, even though summer is officially coming to an end this weekend, the Garden State will feel as though autumn has already arrived due to pleasant and slightly cool weather this week. Forecasters say that this weekend will be dry and bright, making it the ideal holiday for outdoor activities and a final excursion to the beach.
The
National Weather Service predicts that temperatures will be below normal for the duration of the week. Additionally, the humidity will stay low.
According to
National Weather Service< forecasters, there is a remote chance of showers or thunderstorms on Friday, although it is unlikely.
It's more like late September than August with a tinge of October. However, the temperature won't be so low as to prevent Labor Day festivities like grilling and beach visits.
By Labor Day weekend, temperatures might return to historical averages for those who aren't ready to bid summer farewell. However, Dan Pydynowski, Senior Meteorologist at
AccuWeather, stated that excessive heat does not seem to be in the forecast.
Regarding Labor Day itself, there is some uncertainty because there are signs that some showers may occur along the Jersey Shore later Monday. Other than that, though, the weather is quite pleasant, with temperatures close to or below average.
Highs will just exceed 80 degrees, and residents can anticipate largely sunny sky and northwest winds all weekend.
