4-6 Inches of Snow for Jersey Shore

4-6 Inches of Snow Predicted for Jersey Shore.

According to the National Weather Service, a series of low pressure systems will pass south of the area, bringing several waves of snow Tuesday through Wednesday.

4-6 Inches of Snow
Snow showers are expected to begin in South Jersey by late Tuesday morning, gradually spreading further north throughout the afternoon.

The peak intensity of this storm, characterized by the most consistent, heaviest, and extensive snowfall, is anticipated to occur from late Tuesday afternoon until late Tuesday evening.

Specifically, this timeframe can be approximated from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m., representing a broad window. This situation poses a significant challenge, as it coincides with the time when individuals are commuting home from work and school.

AccuWeather’s forecast calls for 3 to 6 inches of snow for most of New Jersey. And then another new storm system is anticipated later in the week, contributing to the increasingly active weather pattern observed in New Jersey.
Snowfall intensity is expected to diminish early Wednesday morning, with a complete cessation anticipated by mid-morning. The latest forecast continues to indicate widespread wintry travel conditions during the morning commute.
