Another Powerful Storm This Weekend in New Jersey: Here is What To Expect.

The strong thunderstorms, which are anticipated to start Monday evening and last into Tuesday, may also produce an isolated tornado.

As storms move in during the evening, destructive winds and flooding are the biggest dangers for the Garden State on Monday, according to forecast experts.

Beginning Monday evening, AccuWeather warned that a number of towns from the Ohio River Valley to the Mid-Atlantic coast could experience heavy rain, lightning, and destructive wind gusts between 60 and 70 mph. According to AccuWeather and the National Weather Service, an isolated tornado may also develop during violent thunderstorms.

The arrival of thunderstorms is expected to begin about 6 p.m. Monday and persist until 4 a.m. Tuesday, according to forecasters. (SEE RADAR) According to the National Weather Service, widespread rainfall may bring up to 2 inches of rain to certain locations.

It will be "very warm but mostly dry" in New Jersey on Monday before storms arrive, according to forecasters. Into the afternoon, humidity could increase as well.

All 21 New Jersey counties are under a hazardous weather outlook as of Monday morning, per the NWS.
