NJ State Police Request Help in Investigating Hit-and-Run Incident
According to the NJ State Police, they are seeking the public's assistance with fatal hit-and-run crash Investigation.
The New Jersey State Police is seeking the public’s assistance with a fatal hit-and-run motor vehicle crash investigation that occurred on I-80 in Paterson, Passaic County.
On June 4, 2025, at approximately 2:55 a.m., an unknown large commercial vehicle or tractor-trailer was traveling eastbound on I-80. In the area of milepost 59.5, the vehicle struck a pedestrian and did not stop at the scene. The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries.
Anyone who may have witnessed the crash or the events prior to or following the crash is asked to contact Troop "B" Totowa Station – Detective Bureau at (973)-785-9412.
