Nor'Easter to Bring Thunderstorms and Rain to New Jersey
According to the most recent prediction, despite Memorial Day weekend being the unofficial start of summer, the remainder of the week will seem more like early spring with its colder temperatures, windy gusts, and drenching rain because of a nor'easter that is currently affecting New Jersey.
The
National Weather Service predicted that through Thursday evening, up to 1.5 inches of rain would fall.
Minor coastal flooding is also anticipated during high tide, according to AccuWeather meteorologists, with wind gusts of 30 to 40 mph around the Jersey Shore.
Although some showers are predicted to persist throughout the day, they will gradually diminish by Friday. It'll peak in the 60s.
The
National Weather Service predicts that while there may be a few isolated showers during the weekend, the weather will generally get better.
The weather should improve by Monday, Memorial Day, while there is still a chance of some rain. Check the
local forecast.
