Matthew Ray Borriello, a cherished soul known for his handy and creative spirit and love for adventure, passed away on March 4, 2025, in Bricktown, NJ, at the age of 32. Born on May 14, 1992, in Toms River, NJ, Matthew was a beacon of joy and ingenuity to all who knew him.
Matthew was the beloved son of Linda Holl; Stepfather Kevin Holl, and father Albert Borriello III. He was a protective and loving brother to Steven Borriello.
His family circle included his caring Aunt and Uncle, Donna and Guy LoSauro, his cousin Chloe LoSauro, and Uncle Ralph Borriello with cousins Jeannette, Ralph Jr., Anthony, and Jake Borriello.
He was also adored by his grandmothers, Regina Molinaro and Donna Borriello. Matthew was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Albert Borriello Jr. and Frank Molinaro, whose memories he held close to his heart.
A proud graduate of Toms River HS North, Matthew’s thirst for knowledge was evident from a young age. His academic achievements were only the beginning of a life marked by continuous learning and self-improvement.
In his professional life, Matthew became an EPA certified technician, a testament to his commitment to both his craft and the environment.Matthew began his career during HS where he trained as an Appliance Repair Tech with Arthur Ghezzi Appliance.
He successfully continued this profession for 19 yrs and was currently working for Appliance Masters of Flemington, NJ.
Matthew’s passions extended far beyond his work. He was an enthusiast of the water, finding peace and excitement in boating and water sports. His love for music was expressed through his talent for piano and guitar, filling the lives of his family and friends with melody and harmony.
Those who knew Matthew will fondly remember his resourcefulness and his ability to fix and create, attributes that made him both indispensable and endearing.
His adventurous spirit was contagious, inspiring others to explore, take chances, and embrace the beauty of the world around them. Matthew’s creativity was not just a personal trait but a gift he generously shared, leaving a lasting imprint on the hearts and minds of those fortunate enough to have crossed his path.
