John Daniel Hallihan, age 74, of Toms River, New Jersey passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2025.

John was a beloved husband, son, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend.

He is predeceased by his father, John Hallihan; his mother, Blanche Dougherty (Santero); and his granddaughter, Priscilla Hallihan.

John is survived by his devoted wife, Marilyn (Spear) Hallihan; his brother, Dennis Santero and wife Sue; his sister, Evelyn Hedrick; and his brother, Richard Hallihan and wife Sharon.

He also leaves behind his children, Glenn, Chrissy, Edward and Eugene; along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. John’s legacy lives on through his nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and countless friends who will remember him for his warmth, generosity, kindness and wit.

A memorial gathering to honor John's life will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River, NJ 08755.

John will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
