According to data from the National Weather Service, Ocean County received over 11 inches of snow during the course of the previous weekend.
On Sunday, the Garden State was battered by snow, ice, a wintry mix, and freezing winds. The severe winter storm left highways covered in snow and cut off thousands of people's electricity.
In some places, the snowfall was covered with at least a quarter-inch of ice due to sleet and freezing rain.
