According to the Manchester Police Department, authorities claimed that a woman from Manchester Township passed away on Saturday after what they suspect to have been a medical incident involving her SUV and a tree.
Around six o'clock in the evening,
Salvina Tannenholz, 72, lost her life when her blue 2020 Subaru Outback collided with a tree on Devereux Drive, close to the intersection with Renaissance Boulevard. Capt. Albert Vega stated on Saturday.
According to Vega, Tannenholz was traveling south on Renaissance Boulevard when he lost control of his vehicle while navigating a bend. He claimed that when she struck a curb, she proceeded straight ahead and struck a tree at 11 Devereux Drive.
He claimed that Tannenholz did not appear to be wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision. When the police arrived, Tannenholz was unconscious and not breathing. They started CPR right away, and after taking her to Community Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead, Vega said.
Paramedics from Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, EMTs from Manchester Township Emergency Medical Services, and firefighters from Ridgeway Volunteer Fire Department were on hand to help at the incident.
Patrolman Keith Douglas of the department’s Traffic Safety Unit is investigating but authorities believe an unknown medical episode is the primary contributing factor in the crash.
