One Dead, One Hurt in Ocean County Truck-SUV Crash
According to the Jackson Township Police Department, a large dump truck and an SUV collided on Wednesday, killing one and injuring another.
According to Jackson Police Chief Matthew Kunz, the victims were inside the SUV. The female passenger was taken to
Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune for treatment, while the male driver passed away at the scene, according to Kunz.
He didn't offer any more details on the victims.
According to him, the collision occurred at the intersection of Cassville Road and Reed Road and was reported at 12:05 p.m.
Investigations into the crash are still ongoing.
