Ongoing Danger: High Risk of Rip Currents Post-Hurricane Erin

Ongoing Danger: High Risk of Rip Currents Post-Hurricane Erin

According to the National Weather Service, looking ahead to Saturday: In terms of sensible weather, stunning. Sunny & mild.

HOWEVER! You will still risk your life if you go in the water. A HIGH risk for dangerous rip currents continues despite the departure of Hurricane Erin.

Also! Minor coastal flooding, especially for the back bays of NJ and DE, during the times of high tide, will continue through at least Saturday, and possibly into Sunday as well.

Coastal flooding along the Jersey Shore and Delaware will remain a concern through most of the weekend. However, temperatures will be pleasant in the low 80โ€™s with sunny skies.
