Overnight Frost Advisory for Parts of New Jersey This Evening

What is frost? When the air becomes extremely cold, a thin layer of ice known as frost forms. Things like windows, cars, and grass get white and sparkling when the water in the air freezes on them.

A Frost Advisory indicates that it will grow cold enough, usually overnight, for frost to form. It serves as a warning to shield plants and other items from potential cold damage.
Nine Counties in New Jersey are under a frost advisory for tonight (10/23/25) into Friday (10/24/25).

  • Atlantic
  • Burlington (northwestern & southeastern portions)>br>
  • Camden
  • Cumberland
  • Gloucester
  • Mercer
  • Monmouth (western)
  • Ocean
  • Salem

  • Tonight's lows could range from the mid- to upper-30s to the low-40s. On Friday, there will be sunshine and temperatures in the middle to upper 50s. With Saturday seeing sunshine and Sunday seeing clouds, the weekend appears to be clear with highs in the mid- to upper-fiftys on both days.
