Obituary
Paul Ryan Mount 45 of Manchester died suddenly Saturday night June 3, 2023. Born in Syracuse, NY he resided his entire life in Manchester. After graduating Manchester High School in 1996 he served as a Sergeant in the Marine Corps from 1996-2000. He was awarded the Distinguished Graduate Award for his M1A1 Armored Tank Crewman course as well as additional awards; meritorious Mast 3 times and Rifle & Pistol Sharpshooter and Navy Unit Commendation.
He was working for Cedar Croft Construction in Brick. He was a member of the American Legion Post #493 in Little Egg Harbor and a former Cub Scout & also a den leader of Pack #44 of Manchester. At one time, he coached a local T- ball team for children in Manchester.
He was fun loving and enjoyed surfing, fishing, camping, skiing and singing. Surviving are his parents, David & Dianne Mount, daughter, Leah, brother, Charles Mount & his wife Gayle, sisters, Jennifer Mount & Harold Marone and Megan Russo & husband Jeff; his beloved companion Meggie and the children that in his heart were loved as if his very own: Samantha, Shane & Ryan Fasinski, nieces & nephews, Jason, Reanna, Goddaughter Allison, Avery, Charlie and Alex.
The visitation is Thursday 4-8 PM at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Rd Manchester.
A service will be held at the funeral home at 12:00 PM on Friday and Interment with military honors to follow at 1:30 at Brigadier Gen Wm C Doyle NJ Veterans Cemetery.
