Police Seeking Assistance in Identifying Pedestrian Hit By Vehicle in South Jersey
According to Glassboro Police Department they are seeking assistance from the public.
A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on Tuesday night in Gloucester County, according to police, who are working to identify him as he recuperates in the hospital.
The incident occurred at approximately 8:20 p.m. on
Delsea Drive in Glassboro, as reported by authorities. The man did not possess any identification or a cell phone at the time of the accident.
"The Glassboro Police Department stated on Wednesday morning that we need to reach out to his family, who may be searching for him."
No additional details regarding the accident were available at this time.
Authorities characterized the pedestrian as a Black male, estimated to be in his 40s or 50s. He stands approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs around 185 pounds.
The individual has a shaved head, a mustache, and a short beard. His attire included blue jeans, a gray t-shirt, a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, and a black puffer jacket.
He was also seen wearing a diamond stud earring in his left ear and a thick, silver double-helix necklace. Police have released an
